Eunice Bowen Branyon is author of the book "Family of Woody Bowen 1782-1975" and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution(DAR). In order to become a member of the DAR, she researched and documented the family marriages and children under Woody Bowen(son of Sterling Bowen) until 1975. It took many years and an enormous amount of work to accomplish this, and 174 pages to document all the effort.

She had a great love of family, a great love of community, and a great love of genealogy.

She is the daughter of Robert Burts Bowen and Gertrude Murdoch Bowen,
Granddaughter of John Wesley Bowen(Civil War Veteran) and Talitha Ann Cumi Stucky Bowen,
Great Granddaughter of Jones Bowen and Elmira Chambers Bowen,
Great Great Granddaughter of Woody Bowen and Nancy(maiden name not known) Bowen, and
Great Great Great Granddaughter of Sterling Bowen(Revolutionary Way Veteran) and Susannah Meredith Bowen

Aunt Eunice also took a lot of pictures of her family(Bowen and Murdoch) through the years. Below are several of her albums showing photos and newspaper clippings of the Bowen and Murdoch Families from 1880 through 1958. They are first presented as she originally constructed them.
